A. Yes, our work is guaranteed. If our development efforts don't meet your requirements, then you don't pay.

Q. What are some of your specific programming tasks?

A. We do the programming tasks that conventional programmers do not perform because, quite simply, they charge too much. We specialize in the smaller programming tasks that streamline much of an office's daily routine. We customize Excel sheet and Word document templates, for instance, that allow associates more time in managing, not manipulating, data.

Q. Why do you program mainly in Microsoft Office?

A. Since many businesses have Microsoft Office installed, there is no need to install a new application on machines. In addition, most associates are familiar with the Microsoft Office interface windows, so learning the new processes is easy.

Q. Can you program other applications?

A. Of course! However, most tasks can be done through Microsoft office, so we rarely need to program externally.

Q. What is the Savings Quotient?

A. The Savings Quotient is the figure that allows your accountants to factor in the savings associated with implementing a computing task designed by ZapDude. For instance, if you currently have an Excel Sheet task that requires you to copy data from another source, paste the data into the sheet, then create formats for cells housing the data, that would be time that could be saved by automating the Excel sheet creation process. The Savings Quotient becomes more powerful when this task is repeated many times during the course of your projects.

Q. Is it true that there is no payment until the job is completed?

A. In most cases, that is true! ZapDude feels that businesses should not pay for programming costs until they are familiar with the operation of the new process. Of course some development tasks may require payment schedules upon completion of certain completion levels on more sophisticated requirements. But the total payment is NEVER needed until you and your associates are completely familiar with the operation of your automated process.

Q. Where do you do your programming?

A. ZapDude does most of its programming here in Long Beach, California . For major development, we may have a project manager from our staff attend your facility to determine the best method for creating your automated process before returning to our base to develop your automation solution.

Q. All of this sounds good. How soon can you give me a quote?

A. For most automation tasks, ZapDude can quote you a price within 24 hours. Development application estimates may take longer, but in most cases we can turn around a competent, fixed bid within 72 hours.
